Paola Moya is the CEO and Principal of Marshall Moya Design. She manages the firm’s executive responsibilities and is actively involved in the design, development, and successful completion of each of the firm’s projects. Moya directs the Marshall Moya Design team, cultivates new business opportunities, oversees the firm’s daily business operations, and leads the firm’s strategic planning.
In 2010, Moya joined a partnership with Michael Marshall to form Marshall Moya Design. In 2011, they initiated a product design firm called inNuevo, where Moya owns the majority of the firm and leads the business and design initiatives. Prior to forming the partnership, Moya worked for three years with Marshall at his firm, Michael Marshall Architecture. Before working with Marshall, Moya worked for six years at Georgetown Design Group in Washington, D.C. where she was responsible for several design-build projects. Moya was born in Bogota, Colombia and has a Colombian architecture license. She also shares her architectural expertise through presenting lectures, serving on the Advisory Board for Elizabeth Seton High School, advising on the Catholic University Board of Directors, acting as an Advisor for NOMA, volunteering as a guest critic at local universities, and offering career advice to students.
